ISLAMIC CREATIVE ECONOMY COMPETITION NOMINEE ON GLOBAL ISLAMIC ECONOMY SUMMIT - DUBAI
Kaaba Virtual Experience became the only Indonesian representative, at the 6th Global Islamic Economy Summit (GIES) held in Dubai, the United Arab Emirates, having previously competed with 10 Islamic economic products in Indonesia.
October 27 - November 1, 2018, Kaaba Virtual Experience had the opportunity to represent Indonesia at the 6th Global Islamic Economy Summit (GIES) held in Dubai, UAE In this event Kaaba became the only Indonesian representative, having previously competed with 10 Islamic economic products in Indonesia.
GIES itself is the largest and most comprehensive forum in the world dedicated to Islamic economics, organized by the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and the Dubai Islamic Economic Development Center (DIEDC) under the command of His Excellency Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister UAE. The event was attended by 23 Islamic countries in the world, and Kaaba was included in one of the categories of Islamic creative competition, namely the category of Islamic media information and communication. With ranked 10th out of 126 participants from 23 countries.
The Kaaba product included in the nomination is Kaaba Experience which contains Islamic content in the form of experience visiting places of worship in Mecca and Medina. Another product like Kaaba Buku Saku and Augmented reality has been published and used for some country during this event.
One of the series of events includes the Islamic Creative Economy Competition and the Global Islamic Business Awards. Attended by a number of great speakers from various parts of the world who attended this event, one of which was the Chairman of the Dubai Chamber of Commerce & Industry,Hamdan bin Mohammed Al Maktoum, H.E. Majid Saif Al Ghurair, Chairman of DIEDC, H.E. Sultan Bin Saeed Al Mansoori and dozens of other speakers who inspired. Also present were 2,500 officials and business leaders from 74 countries who certainly had an interest in the world of Islamic economics.
Kaaba was greatly welcomed by the participants present and the public. Through the Kaaba Experience product which presents the Hajj and Umrah worship process in Mecca and Medina the public can feel like being in the Holy Land. They were very enthusiastic about what Kaaba showed. The event provided an opportunity for Kaaba Virtual Experience to build a relationship and introduce themselves to all participants present from all over the world.
Even though it is only one year old, with this achievement Kaaba Virtual Experience can prove that the products can insightful for all Muslims in the world.
